GUBA Enterprise Delivers Landmark Strategic Partnership at Afro Hair and Beauty LIVE 2026

GUBA Enterprise was proud to serve as a Strategic Partner of Afro Hair and Beauty LIVE 2026, Europe’s largest hair and beauty exhibition, held on 24 and 25 May 2026 at the Business Design Centre in London. The two-day event brought together thousands of beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, brands, and industry leaders from around the world, and GUBA’s presence at its heart ensured that African and diaspora businesses had a powerful platform to shine.

The partnership built on the announcement made earlier in the year and delivered on every dimension, from exhibitor support to panel programming to on-the-ground activation, making GUBA Enterprise’s involvement one of the defining features of the 2026 edition.

Bringing the World to African Business

One of GUBA’s most tangible contributions to the event was its work to bring together exhibitors from across the globe, creating structured opportunities for African and diaspora-owned businesses to showcase their products, reach new markets, and build international partnerships that extend well beyond the exhibition floor. For many of the businesses involved, GUBA’s facilitation opened doors that would otherwise have remained closed.

The GUBA Impact Panel Discussion

Central to GUBA’s programming at the event was the GUBA Impact Panel Discussion, which brought together an outstanding lineup of speakers to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, and the commercial potential of African businesses on the global stage.

•  Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, President and CEO of GUBA Enterprise, who spoke on the importance of empowering African businesses and strengthening global partnerships.

•  Dr. Cheryl P. Williamson, international leadership strategist and executive coach, who shared insights on leadership, purpose, and creating lasting impact.

•  Jacqueline Shaw, Director of Fashion Africa Trade Expo, who discussed opportunities within Africa’s fashion and creative industries.

•  Abigail Akomah, CEO of House of Keren, who spoke about entrepreneurship, innovation, and building successful African brands.

African Excellence on Display

Beyond the panel, the exhibition welcomed an impressive lineup of GUBA-supported participants, including Ace-Liam, the Guinness World Record-winning young artist, alongside MacBancy Perfumery, Maison Yusif, Shimirose, ASO Global, PrepCare Hair, Denkyi Mireku, Mishanty, and several other outstanding businesses, all proudly showcasing African excellence to a global audience.

A Partnership That Delivered

The collaboration between GUBA Enterprise and Afro Hair and Beauty LIVE 2026 demonstrated the power of strategic partnerships in promoting African businesses, celebrating creativity, and connecting entrepreneurs with international opportunities. The success of the two-day event reinforced GUBA’s commitment to creating platforms that champion trade, investment, culture, and innovation across Africa and the diaspora, and set a strong precedent for what future editions of this partnership can deliver.
